Wow! These children were on outstanding form for their LMYL Day in Surrey and have produced writing to be truly proud of. Their enthusiasm was extraordinary and as you can see, it was a day for the whole school community of Ashford Park Primary School to come together and admire their wonderful young writers. Congratulations!

Shannon C, your story was excellent. I was gripped by your story and wanted to hear more (even though I was a little spooked). Heron Class. Amazing. No other word for it. Your writing is brilliantly thought out and your stories were so interesting to read and it is clear to see how hard all of the children of Ashford Park have worked. Super work, well done all of you!!

Congratulations to all the pupils. I REALLY enjoyed the spooky stories. My favourite ghost story ever is ‘The Signalman’ by Charles Dickens. I wonder if you can find out about that?
