A Titanic Complaint!

We read ‘Titanic Diary’ by Lauren in Brookfields School, Birmingham and loved how she managed to combine information with an entertaining style. We analysed Lauren’s character and then wrote some letters of complaint to White Star Line in role as Lauren. This is Sasha’s effort, which I think really shows a clear character! We hope you enjoy, and Lauren, if you’re reading, thanks for inspiring our lesson today!

    Hi Sasha,

This is Year 3Y from Church Road School, in Bolton. We have just read your letter and we think it is MAGNIFICENT!

We absolutely loved the way you used vivid adjectives and powerful vocabulary to hook us in! This made us want to read more. Your writing was extremely descriptive and detailed, which built up an image in our minds. At the moment, we are learning all about the Titanic and we found your letter very useful.
